I'm 17, from Belgium, and I've spent the last 4 years building the parts of software nobody sees: scalable backends and the infrastructure that keeps them up.

I'm Alessio, a full-stack developer who'd much rather be writing the backend, thinking out infrastructure or building robots. Right now I'm in the first year of my Bachelor of Engineering at KU Leuven. The last four years have been a mix of scalable services, DevOps, system administration and embedded hardware. I run my own homelab with multiple Kubernetes nodes, built an autonomous quadruped 8 DOF robot dog and I contribute to open source where the tooling is missing.
